Buy Olive Oil in Bulk: 3 to 6 Litre Packs

Olive oil in a bulk pack is the cheapest way to buy good oil. Anyone who cooks with olive oil every day does not need a 500-ml bottle for the table, but litres. We bottle our single-variety Koroneiki oil from Pieria in three stock sizes: 3 litres, 4.5 litres and 6 litres. The price per litre falls with the quantity, and the oil does not go off before it is empty — provided it is stored correctly.

Which pack size is the right one?

The rule of thumb: a household with two people cooking daily uses about 0.5 to 1 litre a month. That determines how long a pack will last — and whether it will be empty before the end of its shelf life.

Pack Contents Suits you if …
Mix-Pack 2 × 1 L + 2 × 500 ml (3 L) … you want large bottles for cooking and small ones for the table
Daily Set 3 × 1 L (3 L) … you simply cook and do not need small bottles
Family & Friends 6 × 500 ml (3 L) … you need many small bottles, to pass on or for several households
XXL Storage Pack 6 × 1 L (6 L) … you want the best price per litre and have room for six bottles

The three stock packs

Why larger containers are cheaper

Anyone who takes a 6-litre pack pays less per litre than for six individual bottles — and saves on shipping, because delivery is free from an order value of €50 anyway. The real advantage, however, lies elsewhere: you stop thinking about olive oil. The bottle for the kitchen is always there, you no longer buy spontaneously at the supermarket, and you reach less often for a worse bottle because the good one has just run out.

How to store 6 litres properly

Olive oil keeps well but is sensitive to three things: light, heat and oxygen. For a bulk pack that means specifically:

Unopened, the oil keeps at least until the best-before date on the bottle, usually 18 to 24 months from bottling. An opened bottle should be used within two to three months — which is why 1-litre bottles in a bulk pack are more practical than a single canister.

Bulk pack or gift box?

The gift box is designed for effect: several smaller bottles that you can give away or put on the table. The bulk pack is designed for consumption: as many litres per euro as possible. If you want both together, take the Ultimate Combination — 3 × 1 L for the kitchen and 3 × 500 ml for giving away.

Frequently asked questions about the olive oil bulk pack

Does 6 litres of olive oil actually get used up in time?

With daily cooking in a two-person household: yes, in about six to ten months. If you rarely cook, a 3-litre pack is the more sensible choice — not because the oil goes off faster, but because an opened bottle needs time to be emptied.

Is the oil in the bulk pack the same as in the single bottle?

Yes. It is the same harvest, the same single-variety purity, the same Koroneiki from Pieria. The only difference is the bottle size and therefore the price per litre.

How heavy is a 6-litre pack?

Around 7 kg including the glass. This is not a parcel you tuck under your arm — expect a delivery that you unpack and then place bottle by bottle in the cupboard.

Is there a volume discount beyond 6 litres?

For larger quantities — restaurants, clubs, resale — write to us via the contact form. We will check what is possible from current stock.

Is the bulk pack also available as a gift?

Yes, but think twice: 6 litres are a stock, not a small gift. For gifts, the gift boxes with 500-ml bottles are the better choice.
